The Sheer Force Squat Stand is the entry point of the Sheer Force system. Two uprights, two feet, a pull-up bar across the top β€” everything you need to squat, press, and pull, and the foundation for everything that comes after.

The uprights are 72mm Γ— 72mm, 11-gauge (2.9mm) steel with 50mm hole spacing. They sit toward the centre of the feet, which run front to back. The overall bounding dimensions are the same as the Squat Rack β€” same height, same depth, same width. The difference is in the upright configuration: two uprights positioned centrally rather than four positioned at the ends. If you decide to upgrade, the feet stay exactly where they are.

Pull-Up Bar

The top connector of the Squat Stand is the pull-up bar. It is structural and functional β€” without it the stand would not be rigid, and with it you have a full pull-up station. Available in three configurations:

  • Straight bar β€” standard pull-up grip, full width
  • Curved bar β€” ends curve toward you, shifting the grip angle
  • Multi-grip bar β€” multiple grip positions and widths in a single bar

All three fit the Squat Stand and the Squat Rack. The configuration is chosen at the time of order.

What You Can Train

With the stand alone: barbell squats, barbell rack pulls, pull-ups.

With spotter arms: bench press, incline and decline press, seated shoulder press.

With lever arms: lever press, rotational press variations.

With landmine attachment: landmine press, landmine row, rotational exercises.

With dip attachment: parallel bar dips, L-sits.

The Upgrade Path

The Squat Stand is the beginning of the Sheer Force upgrade path. Add two uprights and reposition the existing ones toward the ends of the feet and you have a Squat Rack. From there, add the cable kit and weight stack and you have the Functional Trainer Rack. Alternatively, you can also build toward the Modular Cable Tower separately. Every part you start with is part of the system you end up with.
